Webinar: Managing Family Conflict At Christmas

This webinar took place on Monday 18 December 2023, 12-12.45pm GMT

'Tis the season to be jolly! And, for many of us, 'tis also the season to spend a prolonged period of time with family, which is not always a straightforward experience.

According to relationship support service, Relate, 68% of people anticipated conflict with their family during the holidays with 39% declaring Christmas Day as the epicentre of their family disharmony. Different opinions, values, rifts, and past traumas can make Christmas time challenging for many. Although we can’t change other people, we can manage how we view, understand, and therefore respond to family difference and conflict, as well as understanding our own triggers and place within the family system.

This FREE webinar explores these concepts and the notion of family systems and conflict management to enable attendees to feel more confident in, and grow in their understanding of managing conflict and difference with family members.
