Amanda is a compassionate and empathetic practitioner who tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client. She offers a range of therapy options including: Counselling/Psychotherapy; Mindfulness Based Therapy; Compassion Focussed Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Coaching; Person-Centred Therapy; Gestalt Therapy; Narrative Therapy; Emotion Focussed Therapy, Somatic Therapy; and Solution Focussed Therapy. Amanda prefers to discuss the range of suitable therapies with each client to enable them to decide which approach they would prefer to try. Amanda has about eight years' experience working in counselling/coaching or advisory wellbeing roles.She has an MSc in Counselling from Abertay University, a Diploma in Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching, and an MSc and BSc in Social Sciences from Edinburgh University.
Amanda is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP).
