Anzelika's way of working
Anzelika is a kind, empathetic and non-judgemental practitioner who aims to help clients develop greater self-awareness, healthier relationships and more satisfying ways of relating to themselves and others. She uses Transactional Analysis in her Counselling/Psychotherapy work. This is a therapeutic approach that links problematic behaviours to early experience and highlights each person’s capacity for change. Anzelika will discuss each client's difficulties with them and agree a plan for moving forward, providing support to help enable change during the process.
Anzelika regularly works with clients who find themselves facing recurring challenges in their relationships, family life or work and who perhaps feel stuck in these repeated patterns despite their efforts to change them. She focuses on helping clients to understand the reasons behind their emotional reactions and behavioural patterns and to find ways to move forward.
Anzelika believes that the relationship each client has with themselves is key to their wellbeing. She aims to work with clients on issues such as self-criticism, self-esteem, boundaries, confidence, and self worth.
Anzelika is experienced in working with cultural differences, migration, identity issues and the challenges of living between cultures.
