She has a particular interest in cultural and intercultural issues within therapy and she values difference and diversity. Erin's practice is inclusive and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Erin's way of working
Erin draws on her training in Counselling / Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to meet the needs and preferences of each individual. She works collaboratively with each person and aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship in which a client can feel safe exploring their issues and bringing about change.Erin's background and training
Erin has experience working in a number of support roles in a variety of settings including: as a therapist working with people with autism; supporting students in education environments; and working with people with dementia.
Erin has an Applied Psychology BSc (hons) from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Certificate of Higher Education in Psychology from The Open University. In addition, Erin is in the final stage of a DPsych in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University.
