Fran's way of working
Fran is a empathetic practitioner who aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each client. She aims to provide a safe space in which clients can fully explore their issues and ways to move forward. Fran offers counselling, cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), and person-centred therapy and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet the individual needs and preferences of each person.Fran's background and training
Fran has several years' experience working as a counsellor in private practice as well as in the charity sector. She qualified as a person-centred counsellor more than 10 years ago and she has recently qualified as a CBT therapist.Fran has a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Diploma in CBT and Groupwork, a COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate, and a BSc (hons) Degree in Psychology.
Fran is a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
