Ingrid’s way of working

Ingrid works collaboratively with clients, aiming to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each person so they can feel safe to explore their issues and problems. She works in holistic way, and may utilise elements from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centred Therapy to meet the individual needs of each client.
 

Ingrid’s background and training

Ingrid has over six years' experience working within the mental health sector, in supporting and counselling roles including as an assistant psychologist and a trainee counselling psychologist. Prior to these roles, Ingrid had various primary care roles, in both private and public healthcare services. Ingrid has a BSc in Psychology with Clinical Psychology from University of Kent, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice from University of Sussex, and she is currently working towards a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University. Ingrid is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Division of Counselling Psychology.

Ingrid’s fee
