Jaclyn is a welcoming and compassionate practitioner who takes an integrative approach to therapy, adapting to best suit the needs of each individual. Where appropriate, she combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with elements from other approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
Jaclyn's background and training
As an experienced CBT therapist, Jaclyn has significant experience in the development of specialist assessments and personalised treatment plans. Additionally, she has provided support to employees as an Employee Assistance Programme counsellor, making evidence-based recommendations for employee wellbeing. Jaclyn has supported many people on their rehabilitation journeys.Jaclyn has a Postgraduate Diploma in Alcohol & Drug studies from the University of the West of Scotland. She also holds a Diploma in CBT & Group Psychotherapy from the Centre of Therapies and Counselling Studies.
Jaclyn is a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). She is also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
