Johannes Millowitsch is an experienced CBT therapist who works online with individual adults with a wide range of issues and problems including: anxiety; depression/low mood; stress; abuse; assertiveness; anger; bereavement/grief; burnout; eating and body image issues; life transitions; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); panic; relationship issues; relaxation; self harm; trauma; and many more issues. 

He has particular experience working with people with anxiety and mood disorders using cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and person-centred counselling. 

In addition to English, Johannes is fluent in German and is happy to work with clients who feel more comfortable speaking in this language.

Johannes works in a person centred way with clients and tailors his therapeutic approach to meet the needs and preferences of each individual. He offers a range of tools and approaches including: cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), counselling / psychotherapy; person-centred therapy; and coaching
 

Johannes' background and training

Johannes has many years' experience working with clients in the field of mental health within a range of settings including in an alcohol recovery project, in the voluntary sector, and in private practice. 

Johannes has a Professional Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (from the Centre of Therapy, Glasgow), an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health from The University of Edinburgh, and graduate diplomas in Applied Positive Psychology and Psychotherapy and Counselling (both from the School of Positive Psychology, Singapore). In addition, he has a MEng (hons) in Mechanical Engineering. 

Johannes is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
