Mira Liskova is a counsellor / psychotherapist who works online with individual adults with a wide range of issues and problems including: anxiety; low mood / depression; stress; eating and body image issues; trauma; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); autism spectrum disorders; life transitions; bereavement/grief; anger; relaxation; gender and sexual identity; assertiveness; and many more issues.

Mira is a trauma-informed, relational therapist with a strong belief in the power of a safe, nurturing space to foster healing and growth. Her practice is grounded in the understanding that each person has an innate potential to thrive when given the right conditions.At the heart of Mira's work with clients is the therapeutic relationship. She believes in the importance of relational depth, where genuine connection and authenticity create spacce where clients can feel truly seen, heard and valued. Mira is passionate about offering a holistic approach to therapy to support clients in exploring their experiences, behavioural patterns, and feelings with curiosity and compassion. She integrates elements from a range of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centred Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness.
Mira's style is predominantly non-directive, empowering clients to lead the way at their own pace. However, she is also able to offer guidance when needed and she always does this with sensitivity to each client's unique needs and goals. She strives to be authentic in her work, using creativity where it feels helpful and safe. She has experience working with neurodiverse clients and she is dedicated to maintaining an inclusive, non-judgmental practice.
Mira's background and training
Mira has worked as a counsellor in a number of different settings and she has also worked in a range of roles supporting adults with disabilities or mental incapacity.Mira has a MSc and a Diploma in Person Centred Counselling from the University of Aberdeen.
Mira is a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP.
Mira's fees
